Chicago will host the PSA World Championships 2025 with record prize money, featuring champions Diego Elias and Nouran Gohar.

The PSA World Championships 2025 will take place in Chicago from May 9-17 at Lakeshore Sport & Fitness, marking the fourth time this prestigious event has been hosted in the city since 2019. With a staggering prize purse exceeding $1,300,000, this tournament is set to be the richest in professional squash history. Defending champions Diego Elias from Peru and Egypt`s Nouran Gohar will aim to retain their titles on a state-of-the-art glass court designed for the occasion.

In addition to the main venue, matches from the first round will be held at the University Club of Chicago, further showcasing the city`s deep-rooted connection to professional squash. PSA Chief Executive Alex Gough expressed enthusiasm about returning the World Championships to Chicago, emphasizing the city`s historical significance in the sport.

Meanwhile, in recent tournament action, the AirSprint Private Aviation Canadian Men`s Open 2025 quarterfinals featured No.2 seed Victor Crouin advancing to the semifinals after a challenging match against Nick Wall. No.4 seed Leonel Cardenas also secured his spot in the next round after a tough four-game battle against Nathan Lake.
