In the combined U17/U20 World Athletics women's race, Zoe Gilbody from Telford AC emerged victorious. Gilbody's consistent performances throughout the season, including a third-place finish in Cardiff and a fourth-place finish in Liverpool, culminated in her triumph in Glasgow. Hannah Kinane of Swansea finished fourth overall and was the second U20 athlete, while Isla McGowan from Banbury made her mark as the first U17 athlete to cross the finish line, securing second place overall.
The men's races saw Jamie Crowe clinch the senior men's title, finishing ahead of Aidan Thomson and Cam Allan. In the U17/U20 men's race, Thomas Hilton of Moorfoot Runners displayed dominance, further establishing his prowess in the sport. The U15 boys race was won by Billy Sutherland of Ross County, while Madison Kindler of Brentwood Beagles continued her impressive winning streak in the U13 girls race. Tom Ibbs of Musselburgh took the victory in the U13 boys race, finishing ahead of Alexander Wotherspoon.
The event attracted athletes from England, Northern Ireland, and Sweden, despite the challenging weather conditions that included snow flurries. The next fixture in the series is scheduled for February 8, 2025, at Temple Newsam in Leeds, leading up to the final event at Wollaton Park in Nottingham on March 8, 2025.
