The Captains enter the matchup with an impressive 10-1 record, recently edging out Williams with a close 12-11 victory. In their previous encounter, Christopher Newport triumphed over Montclair State 12-6, setting the stage for a highly anticipated rematch.

Montclair State is coming off a solid non-conference win against Widener, where they secured an 8-6 victory. The team`s standout players include Max Morosoff, who has netted 28 goals this season, and Jack Cleary, contributing 18 assists. Their performance will be crucial as they aim to upset the ranked opponent.

In women’s lacrosse, Arizona State made headlines by claiming their first Big 12 win, defeating Cincinnati 14-12. Teagan Ng shone brightly with five goals, while Jordyn Behar set a program record with 46 assists this season.
