The Mets defeated the Cubs 5-2 on Sunday, clinching the series. Lindor and Nimmo hit back-to-back home runs in the 3rd, giving the Mets a 3-0 lead. Bader doubled twice and scored, and the Mets added another run in the 5th. Severino struck out 10 over 6 scoreless innings.
