Ebere Eze claimed victory in the Chess.com Pogchamps 6 Championship, defeating Sapnap in a thrilling final. Eze`s journey to the title included a decisive semifinal win over Stephen Nedoroscik, showcasing his strategic prowess and determination. Sapnap also demonstrated impressive skill, overcoming WolfeyVGC to secure his place in the final.

Meanwhile, the Chess Heights Plateau Monthly in Nigeria and the GoldenMind Monthly Standard FIDE Rated Tournament in the Philippines are currently in progress. Notable participants include Anasoh Blaise Ifeanyi and Udoh Gladstone Amos Jnr. in Nigeria, while Saluba Tom Maverick and Torena Clyde Jared are competing in the Philippines.
