Dos Pueblos High boys` lacrosse team clinched the Channel League Championship with an impressive 17-3 victory over rival Santa Barbara on April 16, 2025. This decisive win solidified the Chargers` status as the last undefeated team in California, improving their overall record to 17-0 and 7-0 in Channel League play.

The game began with a slow start for Dos Pueblos, as Santa Barbara managed to close the gap to 5-3 in the second quarter, highlighted by Connor Jackson`s third goal. However, the Chargers regained their momentum just before halftime when Jack Finneran scored, assisted by his twin brother Dan Finneran, extending their lead to 6-3.

The second half showcased a dominant performance from Dos Pueblos, led by Dan Finneran, who finished the game with five goals and five assists. The Chargers outscored Santa Barbara 6-0 in the third quarter and added five more goals in the fourth, with contributions from seniors Parker Bentley and Gus Miller.
