Team U.S. excelled at the 2025 Invictus Games, with Carlos Valerio earning a bronze medal in adaptive sports.

Team U.S. made a remarkable impact at the 2025 Invictus Games held in Vancouver and Whistler, Canada, showcasing the resilience and talent of 50 active-duty military and veterans. Among the standout athletes was Carlos Valerio, a retired Navy hospital corpsman and current Army civilian, who participated in his second Invictus Games. Valerio competed in the biathlon and wheelchair basketball, earning a bronze medal as part of the mixed-nation Team Unconquered, marking a historic achievement as the first such team to medal at the games.

For the first time, the Invictus Games featured winter-specific events, including six adaptive winter sports, further expanding the scope of competition. Prince Harry attended the games, although Meghan Markle was unable to join him due to their children`s illness.
