The 2025 NRL Pre-season Challenge kicked off with thrilling matches over the weekend. The Canberra Raiders showcased their strength by defeating the Penrith Panthers 22-16, with young star Ethan Sanders playing a pivotal role in the victory.

On the same day, the Brisbane Broncos, under new coach Michael Maguire, dominated the Burleigh Bears with a convincing 22-0 win, marking a strong start to their pre-season campaign. The Cronulla Sharks faced the New Zealand Warriors, but the score for that match remains unreported.
