Bates College and Chatham University excelled in the 2025 CSA Divisional Championships, showcasing remarkable squash talent and competitive spirit.

Bates College showcased their squash prowess at the 2025 CSA Divisional Team Championships, defeating Wesleyan 8-1 in the Summer Cup quarterfinals. Bates captain Alec Spiro triumphed in a thrilling 5-game match at the 1 position, leading his team to victory. Dennis Welte, Labeeb Ali, Ashton Monteiro, and Ryan Kim all contributed with decisive 3-0 wins. The Bobcats are set to face No. 22 St. Lawrence in the semifinals after the Saints narrowly edged Dickinson 5-4.

In other men`s action, No. 15 Franklin & Marshall opened their championship weekend with a solid 7-2 win over No. 18 Amherst.

On the women`s side, No. 26 Chatham University pulled off an impressive upset against No. 23 Hamilton College, winning 5-3 in their Walker Cup quarterfinal match. Despite fielding only five players, Chatham dominated the top five positions, while Hamilton secured victories by default in positions 6-8. The Continentals will now face Haverford in the consolation semifinals.

In professional squash, the latest PSA World Tour rankings reveal Ali Farag of Egypt maintaining his 1 spot, followed by Mostafa Asal and Diego Elias. Joel Makin of Wales achieved a career-high ranking at 5. The North American Open doubles event concluded with Stout/Arnold and Todd/Minerson claiming titles.
