The 2025 EchoPark Automotive Grand Prix is set to ignite the NASCAR Cup Series season at Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas, with the green flag dropping at 3:30 p.m. ET. This thrilling 95-lap race features William Byron, the defending champion, who kicked off the season with a Daytona 500 victory, making him a key driver to watch.

Shane Van Gisbergen leads the betting odds as the +450 favorite, while Connor Zilisch follows closely at +650. Tyler Reddick, the 2023 EchoPark Grand Prix winner, has consistently performed well at COTA, never finishing worse than ninth in his four races there. Chase Elliott, a previous winner at COTA in 2021 and a strong contender with seven road course victories, is also expected to challenge for the top spot.

In Formula 1, pre-season testing at Bahrain saw Carlos Sainz Jnr of Williams dominate Day 2, completing 127 laps and clocking the fastest time of 1:29.348. Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc closely trailed, showcasing the competitive spirit of the upcoming season. Despite challenging weather conditions, Hamilton managed to set the fastest lap of the testing session at 1:30.080.
