Free agents from the previous year, such as Marcus Stroman and Jung Hoo Lee, are poised for significant seasons ahead. Stroman, who signed a two-year deal with the New York Yankees, needs to pitch at least 140 innings in 2025 to activate an $18 million player option for 2026.
