Houston's basketball team delivered a commanding performance against Kansas State, securing an impressive 87-57 victory in Big 12 Conference action. This win marks the Cougars' eighth consecutive victory and their fourth straight in conference play, solidifying their position in the standings.

Emanuel Sharp was a standout player for Houston, leading the team with 15 points, all scored in the first half. His early contributions included three crucial 3-pointers that helped the Cougars establish a significant lead. Sharp's first 3-pointer came after Kansas State's initial 9-5 run, igniting a 16-2 run that propelled Houston ahead 21-11.
