Hobart Hurricanes have clinched a spot in the Big Bash League final after a thrilling victory over the Sydney Sixers in the Qualifier match. The Hurricanes set a competitive target of 174 runs at Ninja Stadium, which the Sixers fell short of, finishing their innings at 161/5.

Riley Meredith was a standout performer for the Hurricanes, taking 2 wickets for 34 runs and reaching the milestone of 100 BBL wickets, a significant achievement for the club.
