Nick Aldis announced a Triple Threat match for the January 5 episode of SmackDown, featuring AJ Styles, Randy Orton, and LA Knight. The winner will face Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship at Royal Rumble 2024.
AJ Styles notably (apparently) turned heel during a promo, expressing his resentment toward LA Knight​​.
