Verstappen on 2025 F1 Season and Red Bull`s Challenges

Max Verstappen, the reigning Formula 1 world champion, has reflected on the 2024 season and looked ahead to what promises to be a highly competitive 2025 season. Despite securing his fourth consecutive drivers' title, Verstappen acknowledged that the 2024 season was `up and down` for Red Bull, particularly highlighting the team's struggles with the RB20 car and the inconsistent performance of his teammate, Sergio Perez.

Verstappen's dominance was a key factor in Red Bull's ability to stay in the title hunt, but the team ultimately finished third in the Constructors' Championship behind McLaren and Ferrari. Verstappen's win in Brazil, where he rose from 17th on the grid to take the victory, was a pivotal moment in his championship campaign.

Looking ahead to 2025, Verstappen predicts a `proper fight between a lot of teams,` indicating that the competition across the grid will be fierce. He made these comments during the FIA Awards Ceremony in Rwanda, where he was presented with the world drivers' trophy.

Red Bull's challenges in 2024 were compounded by Perez's form, which saw him struggle to score points consistently. This inconsistency allowed McLaren and Ferrari to gain ground and eventually surpass Red Bull in the Constructors' Championship. Despite these challenges, Verstappen remains optimistic about the team's prospects for the upcoming season.
