Le semi-marathon de Dehli a enrégistré plusieurs athlètes africains et dans le tableau féminin, c'est l'Ethiopienne Almaz Ayana qui s'est imposée en 1h07min58s. C'est sa 2e victoire à New Dehli en Inde après celle de 2017. Elle devance l'Ougandaise Stella Chesang qui a courru 1h08mn28scet la Kenyane Viola Chepngeno avec son chrono de 1h09mn09s. Chez les hommes, le Kenyan Daniel Ebenyo a été le plus rapide avec un temps de 59mn27s, devant son compatriote Charles Matat et ses 1h00mn05s puis en 3e position on retrouve l'Ethiopien Addisu Gobena et son chrono de 1h00mn51s.
