Manuel Ugarte joins Man United

On Friday night, Manchester United finalized the acquisition of Manuel Ugarte from Paris Saint-Germain for €50 million (£42 million) plus €10 million in bonuses. The Uruguayan player pledged to "fight for trophies" and assist in elevating the team back to the top division.

The 23-year-old agreed to a five-year deal with a one-year extension option. Along with Casemiro, he is Erik ten Hag's second senior No. 6 purchase of the window and his fifth key acquisition overall.
