Barcelona signs Spain midfielder Olmo from Leipzig

Dani Olmo, an offensive midfielder for Spain, signed a six-year contract to join La Liga powerhouse Barcelona from Bundesliga team RB Leipzig, the Spanish team said on Friday.



The 26-year-old Olmo signed a contract with Barca through June 2030, returning to the team where he spent seven years in the development academy before joining Dinamo Zagreb at the age of 16. Barca will begin its domestic season against Valencia next week.
