China Triumphs Over Brazil in Group E

Kazakhstan defeated Spain in Group C, while China claimed a 2-0 victory over Brazil in Group E. Gao Xinyu defeated Beatriz Haddad Maia 5-7, 6-4, 7-5 in a marathon lasting over 3 hours, 20 minutes. Zhizhen Zhang then won easily against Thiago Monteiro 6-3, 6-0. This victory put China at the top of Group E, which also includes Germany. The next match in the group will feature Germany vs Brazil on Sunday.
