Zheng Qinwen Withdraws from United Cup

Chinese tennis star Zheng Qinwen, ranked 5th in the world, has withdrawn from the United Cup, citing the need for additional rest and training after a long 2024 season. She expressed her regret but looks forward to participating in the Australian Open from January 12-26, where she reached her first Grand Slam final last year. Zheng will be replaced by compatriot Gao Xinyu (175th) as China faces Brazil in the tournament.
