Netherlands Reaches First Davis Cup Final


The Netherlands secured a historic 2-0 victory over Germany in Malaga, earning their first-ever Davis Cup final appearance. Earlier in the week, they also defeated Spain, contributing to Rafael Nadal's retirement. Tallon Griekspoor, ranked 40th, clinched the decisive point with a score of 6-7 (4/7), 7-5, 6-4 against Jan-Lennard Struff. Botic van de Zandschulp triumphed in a marathon match against Daniel Altmaier with a score of 6-4, 6-7 (12/14), 6-3. The Dutch will face either defending champions Italy, led by world No. 1 Jannik Sinner, or Australia in the final.
