Sabalenka returns to top spot in WTA rankings

The WTA Finals in Saudi Arabia next month are expected to be pivotal in the battle to finish the year as the world number one, and Aryna Sabalenka's return to the top of the rankings after overtaking Iga Swiatek has set up an exciting season finale.
After winning in Cincinnati and Wuhan, retaining her Australian Open title in January, and adding the U.S. Open trophy to her collection last month, Sabalenka has had a spectacular season.
