Aryna Sabalenka Wins WTA 1000 Wuhan Final

Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka (No. 2) thwarted Chinese player Zheng Qinwen (No. 5) by winning the WTA 1000 Wuhan final, 6-3, 5-7, 6-3. The 26-year-old, top seed in Wuhan, battled for 2 hours and 40 minutes to secure her fourth title of the season, following wins at the Australian Open and US Open. With this victory, Sabalenka closes in on world No. 1 Iga Swiatek.
