Djokovic overcomes 'issues' to set up Sinner final

In an attempt to capture his 100th ATP championship, world number four Novak Djokovic will take on Jannik Sinner in Sunday's Shanghai Masters final.
After overcoming hip problems, the Serb defeated Taylor Fritz of the USA 6-4 7-6 (8-6) in China to advance to the final against Italian Sinner, who defeated Tomas Machac 6-4 7-5 in the other semifinal to earn the year-end world number one position.
The 37-year-old Djokovic played some of his best tennis of the year as he easily won the opening set.
