Angry Medvedev battles back to reach last 16

Fiveth place in the world Daniil Medvedev defeated the stubborn Italian Matteo Arnaldi 5-7, 6-4, 6-4 on Sunday to secure his spot in the Shanghai Masters' round of 16.
Early in the first set, Medvedev broke, but 36th-ranked Arnaldi remained composed and broke back in the sixth game after the Russian made an unforced error.
After Medvedev hit long in the twelfth game, Arnaldi broke once more.
