Sabalenka reaches quarterfinals after beating Keys

Second place On Wednesday, Aryna Sabalenka defeated Madison Keys 6-4, 6-3 to progress to the China Open quarterfinals, matching her career-high 15 straight victories.
The three-time Grand Slam champion began her winning run in August with a victory in Cincinnati, and she carried it forward last month when she made a run at the U.S. Open championship. Earlier in the year, she also took home the Australian Open title. Her prior record of 15 was accomplished during the 2020–21 season.
