WADA appeals to CAS, seeks ban on player
In the case of Italian tennis player Jannik Sinner, the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) verified on Saturday that it had filed an appeal with the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) on September 26.
In March 2024, Sinner tested positive twice for clostebol, a forbidden substance, but an impartial tribunal of the International Tennis Integrity Agency (ITIA) determined that Sinner was neither at fault or negligent.
