Raducanu, Zverev pull out of China Open 2024

Emma Raducanu, the reigning U.S. Open champion, was the most recent well-known player to withdraw from the China Open on Monday.
Due to a foot injury she suffered in the Korea Open quarterfinal matchup against Daria Kastkina on Saturday, the British player said she would not be competing in the WTA 1000 competition, which takes place from September 25 to October 6.
Raducanu stated, "Unfortunately, I sprained some ligaments in my foot, which need some more time to heal."
