Naomi Osaka to start 2025 season in New Zealand

Naomi Osaka, a former world number one, will open her 2025 campaign in January at the ASB Tennis Classic in Auckland.
This year marked the four-time Grand Slam singles champion's comeback to the game following an 18-month hiatus during which she gave birth to her daughter Shai. She was defeated on August 29 in the second round of the U.S. Open, and she is now ranked 76th in singles.
