Raducanu into second round with gutsy win

Emma Raducanu defeated American Peyton Stearns 7-6 (7/4), 7-6 (7-5) on Tuesday to open her Korea Open campaign on a positive note.
After several last-minute withdrawals, including World No. 1 Iga Swiatek, U.S. Open runner-up Jessica Pegula, and former Wimbledon champion Elena Rybakina, Britain's Raducanu is hoping to make an impression in Seoul.
