Medvedev swats aside Nuno Borges to reach quarters

With a very dominant performance on Monday at Arthur Ashe Stadium, Daniil Medvedev defeated Nuno Borges, the unseeded player, 6-0, 6-1, 6-3, and advanced to the US Open 2024 quarterfinals with hardly any sweat on his brow.
It was a one-sided match in which Borges, playing in a Grand Slam fourth round for just the second time in his career, had no answers for the power of fifth seed Medvedev, the only remaining previous champion in the men's draw.
