Tsitsipas splits with father Apostolos as coach

Greek athlete Stefanos Tsitsipas, a former world number three, said on Friday that he had parted ways with his father Apostolos, who served as his coach.

Currently ranked eleventh, the 25-year-old had criticized Apostolos's teaching methods after falling to former Japanese world number four Kei Nishikori 6-4, 6-4, in Thursday's Canadian Open second round match.
