Coco Gauff Bounces Back From Olympics Heartbreak.

Top seed Coco Gauff defeated China's Yafan Wang 6-4, 6-4 in her first match since an early Tokyo Olympics exit. The 20-year-old American admitted making more errors than usual, but was pleased with her point construction. Gauff next faces Russia's Diana Schnaider.
Elsewhere, Aryna Sabalenka, who missed the Olympics, cruised past China's Yue Yuan in Toronto. However, Madison Keys and Naomi Osaka were forced to retire due to injury.
Gauff will now aim to defend her US Open title after this promising start in Canada.
