Peyton Stearns wins first WTA 250 title

Dominant in all aspects of the game, American Peyton Stearns (world #81) easily defeated Egyptian Mayar Sherif (world #66) 6-2, 6-1 in the final of the WTA 250 tournament in Rabat to win her first career title on the main circuit. The 22-year-old Stearns took advantage of Sherif's numerous errors to clinch the victory in just over an hour. Stearns will now head to the French Open.
