Dominant Swiatek sails into Italian Open semifinal

Top-seeded Iga Swiatek defeated Madison Keys, the 18th seed, in a straight-set match to advance to the Italian Open semifinals.

In 77 minutes, the 22-year-old Pole, who won the Rome title in 2021 and 2022, completed the 6-1 6-3 victory.

Swiatek defeated Keys by the same score in the Madrid Open final four, marking his second victory against the American in 13 days.
