Climate protester interrupt two Italian Open match

Climate activists' protest led to the suspension of two matches at the Italian Open in Rome.

Both the Madison Keys vs. Sorana Cirstea last-16 match and the doubles match between Santiago Gonzalez and Edouard Roger-Vasselin versus Marcelo Arevalo and Mate Pavic were stopped.

According to a statement on the Italian Open website, two outside activists wearing orange vests ran onto the court and tossed confetti while American Keys was ahead 6-2, 3-1.
