Dominic Thiem Announces Retirement from Tennis

Former world No. 3 and winner of the 2020 US Open, Austrian tennis player Dominic Thiem, who is currently ranked 117th in the ATP rankings, primarily due to a persistent wrist injury, announced on Friday his retirement from professional tennis at the end of the season. "The 2024 season will be my last. I have decided to end my career," said the 30-year-old player in a video posted on the social media platform Instagram.
