Cameron Norrie and Katie Boulter start with win

With victories over the hosts Australia in Perth, Cameron Norrie and Katie Boulter made sure that Great Britain got off to a winning start at the United Cup.

Alex de Minaur was defeated by British men's number one Cameron Norrie 6-4 2-6 7-6 (7-2) after a third-set tiebreak.


Boulter then defeated Ajla Tomljanovic 6-2 6-4 to clinch her country's first victory with one set remaining.
