Wake Forest`s thrilling 4-2 victory over TCU secures their second NCAA Tennis Championship title, showcasing star players like Dostanic.

Wake Forest has triumphed in the 2025 NCAA Division I Men’s Tennis Championship, defeating TCU 4-2 at the Hurd Tennis Center in Waco, Texas. This victory marks a significant milestone for Wake Forest, as it secures their second NCAA men’s tennis title, following their first in 2018.

The match showcased remarkable performances, particularly from Wake Forest`s Stefan Dostanic, who dominated TCU`s Jack Pinnington with a decisive score of 6-3, 6-1. DK Suresh Ekambaram also contributed to the victory, overcoming Pedro Vives in a thrilling three-set battle, finishing 6-2, 3-6, 6-3. TCU`s Lui Maxted and Alberto Pedrico fought valiantly, with Maxted defeating Ioannis Xilas 6-1, 7-6, and Pedrico edging Luciano Tacchi 3-6, 6-1, 6-2.

In the doubles competition, crucial victories from Dostanic and Robertson, along with Pow and Tacchi, helped solidify Wake Forest`s championship claim. Competing against a formidable field of sixty-four teams, including top seeds like TCU, Texas, and Stanford, Wake Forest`s resilience and skill shone brightly throughout the tournament.
