Texas Longhorns defeated Oklahoma Sooners 4-1, with Lacides and Nhavene winning in doubles.

Oklahoma Sooners faced a tough challenge against the No. 5 University of Texas Longhorns, ultimately falling 4-1 in their recent tennis match. The Sooners managed to secure their only point through a doubles victory by Oscar Lacides and Bruno Nhavene, who triumphed over Texas`s No. 6 pair with a score of 6-3.

In singles play, Texas showcased their strength as Timo Legout defeated Oscar Lacides 6-3, 6-3, while Pierre-Yves Bailly secured a win against Kholo Montsi with a score of 6-1, 6-4. The Sooners are gearing up for their final home match against LSU on April 5, where they will look to bounce back from this defeat.

In another notable match, Rice University, ranked No. 69, claimed a 5-2 victory over Charlotte. Vasco Prata from Charlotte delivered an impressive performance in singles, winning a marathon match 6-1, 6(2)-7(7), 1(1-0(6), but it was not enough to secure an overall win for his team. Additionally, the Union College men`s tennis team achieved a solid 6-1 victory over SUNY Oneonta, with Christian Crowder clinching the match in sixth singles.
