American swimmer Kensey McMahon, a world medalist in short course, has been suspended for four years for doping, the US anti-doping agency (USADA) announced on Tuesday. McMahon (24), who won bronze in the 1500m at the 2022 Short Course World Championships in Melbourne, tested positive for vadadustat, a drug classified by anti-doping as a peptide hormone like EPO.
