Brown fails in Olympic surfing bid

Sky Brown, a British adolescent, says she is "super proud" after failing to qualify for the Olympic surfing event at the Paris Games.

The 15-year-old missed out after being eliminated in her repechage heat at the World Surfing Games in Puerto Rico.

Brown, who will compete in skateboarding, hoped to become the first British athlete in more than a century to compete in two sports at the same summer Olympics.
