The 2025 Queensland Grommet Surfing Titles at Flat Rock, Tugun, concluded with a spectacular display of talent as over 270 young surfers, aged from Under 12 to Under 18, battled it out in pristine conditions. The event, held on June 29, 2025, was a testament to the competitive spirit and skill of Australia’s youth, with standout performances from surfers like Ocean Lancaster, who scored an impressive 8.17 in the Under 16 Boys heat, and Jaya Suhendra, who dominated his quarterfinal with a total of 15.56.

This event is part of a broader initiative aimed at fostering youth development in surfing, emphasizing community alongside competition. The clean and consistent waves at Flat Rock provided the perfect backdrop for these rising stars to showcase their abilities.
