Mophie continues its partnership with WSL for the 2025 season, supporting events and highlighting surfers` courage.

Mophie has confirmed its continued partnership with the World Surf League (WSL) for the 2025 Championship Tour (CT) season, remaining the Official Portable Power Partner of WSL Asia Pacific. This collaboration will see mophie actively participating at key CT events, including those on the Gold Coast, in Tahiti, and the Fiji WSL Finals at Cloudbreak in August 2025.

Mophie’s portable power solutions have been essential for keeping WSL athletes, staff, and media connected during events, particularly in remote locations like Teahupo`o and Cloudbreak. The partnership will also feature the "Charger of the Event powered by mophie" broadcast integration, which highlights surfers who exhibit exceptional courage and commitment at each event.

Andrew Stark, WSL APAC President, expressed appreciation for mophie’s ongoing support, while Brad Bricknell, mophie Marketing Director ANZ, reiterated the brand’s dedication to professional surfing. In other news, pro-surfer Makai McNamara is currently in a coma following a wipeout at Pipeline in Hawaii, a situation that required a dramatic rescue. Meanwhile, the 2025 Rip Curl GromSearch event at Witsands showcased young talent, with Summer Harding winning the girls` U12 division and Ethan Schermbrucker taking the boys` title.
