Franklin & Marshall Dominates Bowdoin in Squash Showdown

Franklin & Marshall`s squash team secured a decisive win over Bowdoin, while Navy triumphed against Chatham on Senior Day.

Franklin & Marshall`s men`s squash team showcased their prowess with a commanding 7-2 victory over No. 21 Bowdoin. This win marked a successful 2-0 weekend for the Diplomats, highlighted by standout performances from Aditya Chandani and Sam Freed, both achieving 3-0 sweeps in their respective matches. Chandani`s victory in the No. 5 slot was his 11th individual win of the season, while Freed secured his ninth win in the No. 7 position.

Evann Tan also contributed significantly, defeating his opponent 3-1 in the No. 9 slot for his eighth win this season. Both Kyle Broadhurst and Alexander Arader displayed resilience, rallying to 3-2 victories in their matches, bringing their winter win totals to seven. Marco DiFilippo added to the team`s success with a 3-1 win in the No. 3 slot, while Noah Katzer completed the sweep with a 3-0 victory in the No. 8 match.

In another exciting matchup, the 20th-ranked Navy squash team triumphed over No. 22 Chatham with a 6-3 score on Senior Day. This victory was particularly significant as it marked Navy`s first win in the series against Chatham. Ramsay Killinger excelled at the No. 7 position, sweeping his match 3-0. Navy`s Matt Wang overcame a 2-1 deficit to secure a crucial win at No. 1, marking his 71st career victory, solidifying his place in the program`s history.
