Tufts Squash Stars Shine with All-NESCAC Honors

Tufts men`s squash team finishes 11-10, with Gill and Desai earning All-NESCAC honors, while professional rankings heat up.

Tufts University men`s squash team wrapped up their season with an impressive 11-10 record, securing a national ranking of No. 12 following the College Squash Association (CSA) Team Championships. The team showcased remarkable talent, with Aarav Gill and Nachiket Desai earning All-NESCAC First Team honors, while Kerwin Teh was recognized as a Second Team honoree. Gill excelled at the No. 2 position, finishing with an 11-5 record, while Desai, who took over the top spot mid-season, achieved seven wins. Teh, known for his leadership, played consistently at No. 3, concluding the season with an 11-9 record.

In professional squash, the PSA Squash Tour is heating up, with Ali Farag and Mostafa Asal leading the men`s rankings. On the women`s side, Nour ElSherbini and Nouran Gohar are at the top. Notably, Kara Lincou, niece of former World No. 1 Thierry Lincou, is set to represent France at the U23 World Championships after a stellar college career at Trinity College. Additionally, Vharsha Dinesh from Tufts has been named to the All-NESCAC First Team for the third consecutive time, while Jana Safay from Trinity earned the title of NESCAC Player of the Year.
