Joel Makin wins the Pittsburgh Open as CSA rankings set the stage for upcoming squash championships.

The College Squash Association (CSA) has unveiled its latest team rankings as the season approaches its climax. These rankings will dictate the matchups for various championship divisions in the upcoming end-of-season tournaments. For men`s teams, the Potter Cup features the top 12 ranked teams, while the Hoehn Cup includes teams ranked 13-20, the Summers Cup covers teams ranked 21-28, and the Conroy Cup showcases teams ranked 29-34. On the women`s side, the Howe Cup is for teams ranked 1-12, the Kurtz Cup includes teams ranked 13-20, and the Walker Cup covers teams ranked 21-31.

In professional squash, the PSA World Tour is buzzing with activity. The QSF 2 2025 event and the Bricomarche Pestka PSA Poznan Open 2025 are both taking place in Poznan, Poland, from February 25 to March 1. These tournaments feature elite players vying for crucial ranking points and prize money.

Wales` Joel Makin recently clinched the 2025 title at the Pittsburgh Open, defeating Egypt`s Youssef Ibrahim in a gripping 75-minute final. This victory is a significant milestone for Makin on the PSA World Tour.
