Ali Farag Dominates at Lifetime Chicago Open

Ali Farag and Nour ElSherbini excelled at the Lifetime Chicago Open and Gaynor Cincinnati Cup, respectively.

Ali Farag showcased his prowess at the Lifetime Chicago Open, part of the PSA Challenger Tour 10, held in Vernon Hills, Illinois, from February 9 to 16, 2025. As the top-ranked player in the world, Farag`s performance solidified his status in the sport.

In women`s squash, the Gaynor Cincinnati Cup, a PSA World Tour Silver event, took place simultaneously in Cincinnati, Ohio. Nour ElSherbini, ranked number one globally, delivered an impressive display, further enhancing her reputation in the competitive landscape of women`s squash.

Collegiate squash also saw significant action, with the College Squash Association (CSA) updating its rankings through February 18, 2025. Key victories included Franklin & Marshall`s win over Colby and Harvard`s triumph against Drexel. The University of Pennsylvania`s women`s team is gearing up for a crucial match against 10 Drexel on February 20, 2025, aiming to close the regular season strong with a record of 12 wins, the most since 2016-17. Historically, Penn has dominated Drexel, winning 10 of their last 14 encounters.
