Middle Tennessee State also made headlines by dominating No. 24 Liberty, handing them their first Conference USA loss with an 8-2 victory. Jana Want tied the program record with six RBIs in a single game, hitting two three-run home runs, while Ansley Blevins contributed with a two-run blast, marking her 11th home run of the season.
