Miami`s Madilyn Reeves Shines in Softball Victory

Miami`s Madilyn Reeves led her team to a 5-3 victory over Northern Illinois in recent softball action.

Miami triumphed over Northern Illinois with a score of 5-3 on March 21, 2025. Madilyn Reeves was the standout player, earning the win and improving her record to 9-6. Northern Illinois managed to score in the second, third, and sixth innings, highlighted by R. Hartman`s home run in the second. However, Miami`s offense surged in the fifth and sixth innings, scoring four crucial runs to clinch the victory.

In another matchup, Kansas City defeated North Dakota State 4-2, with Hannah Burks pitching a complete game, allowing only two runs on five hits. North Dakota State`s Amai Hanta showcased her speed, getting hit by a pitch and stealing two bases.

Livingstone College dominated Virginia State, winning decisively 8-1, with H. Darringto earning the win. Virginia State`s S. Abraham took the loss in this contest. The Ohio Bobcats displayed their strength by shutting out Buffalo 10-0, with Skipp Miller pitching a flawless game and Colleen Bare contributing with a home run.
